you need someone already there.

Does this sound familiar?

Four walls every Japan company hits when entering or operating in India.

You've entered India, but your local team isn't aligned — projects stall with no clear reason why
Web research tells you nothing about how India actually works. You need first-hand intelligence, but have no way to get it
No access to government bodies, major hospital groups, or investment authorities — you can't reach the decision-makers
Partner selection, negotiation, and due diligence — you don't know who to trust or where to start

Three ways I can help

From market entry to ongoing operations — I work from the ground in Bangalore.

01
On-the-ground research & meeting coordination
Three days of field research in Bangalore delivers more actionable intelligence than three months of desk research. I arrange meetings with the right companies, experts, and government contacts for your goals — then join every meeting as facilitator and interpreter.
02
Japan–India communication bridge
When your India team isn't moving, the problem is rarely motivation or capability — it's a structural gap in expectations and communication norms. Based in Bangalore, I bridge both sides in real time, rebuilding momentum on stalled projects.
03
Access to government & enterprise networks
I have a track record of arranging meetings with government ministers, major hospital group directors, and investment authorities across India and Saudi Arabia — networks that typically take years to build independently.

What changes when someone is actually there.

Four engagements that show the difference.

Building Maintenance Industry
12 C-level meetings in 5 days.
Partner negotiations started immediately after returning.
Before Strong interest in the Indian market, but no way to assess the reality from Japan. The CEO decided to visit in person — but had no network to structure a meaningful trip around.
Action I arranged targeted meetings across 5 days, from airport pickup to final debrief — facilitating all meetings, interpreting, coordinating networking dinners, and synthesising key insights throughout.
Result 12 meetings with C-level decision makers across 5 days. Direct negotiations with 5 drone company CEOs/CMOs. Access secured to influential local investor networks. Partner negotiations initiated upon return to Japan.
"Coming here changed everything. In five days, what I'd read online started to look completely different. We left with everything we needed to decide our next step."
— CEO, building maintenance company (name pending permission)
Medical Device Manufacturer
3 high-level meetings in a single day in India.
Government, regulator & hospital access in Saudi Arabia — all coordinated solo.
Before Planning to expand a portable Holter ECG into India and the Middle East, but with no access to government bodies, major hospitals or research institutions. Partner search stalled, and the path forward on regulatory approvals (CDSCO / SFDA) and market entry was unclear.
Action Coordinated 3 meetings in a single day — arriving at 2 AM, departing on a late-night flight — with a government minister, a major hospital, and a national research centre. Also handled IIT Hyderabad liaison, CDSCO regulatory support, visa applications, and English pitch deck production. In Saudi Arabia, independently arranged meetings with KFUPM, MISA, SFDA and King Faisal Hospital, then supported full market entry strategy development post-visit.
Result Three meetings across government, hospital and research institution — delivered in a single day with a 2 AM arrival and late-night departure. Access to networks in India and Saudi Arabia that would typically take years to build, achieved in weeks. End-to-end support from regulatory navigation to market entry strategy.
"I didn't think one person could coordinate all of this across India and Saudi Arabia. Having someone you can trust on the ground makes all the difference."
— CEO, medical device company (name pending permission)
Authentication / SaaS Company
Unlocking a stalled India team
by fixing the invisible communication gap
Before Already had a local team in India, but chronic misalignment with the Japan HQ was stalling progress — and the root cause wasn't clear to anyone on either side.
Action Working in real time with both sides from Bangalore, I diagnosed the structural gap — differences in expectations, communication norms, and ways of working — and built a framework that worked for both teams.
Result The stall resolved. Monthly reporting stabilised, and the Japan-side team's workload dropped significantly. Ongoing advisory relationship continues today.
"The stress of managing our India team from Japan dropped dramatically. Knowing someone is there and can act immediately makes a huge difference."
— Executive, authentication/SaaS company (name pending permission)
F&B / Staffing
From premium mall negotiations in Bangalore
to a government LOI for skilled worker placement
Before A Japanese restaurant group operating 50+ locations with presence in Vietnam and Thailand, exploring India entry. No access to premium real estate partners in Bangalore and no clear path to site negotiation.
Action Connected the client with a leading Bangalore developer and coordinated site visits across 5 candidate locations including Orion Mall and Sheraton Grand Bangalore Hotel. Arranged, accompanied and interpreted the executive meeting, then supported Terms & Conditions negotiations post-visit.
Result Secured access to Bangalore's premier commercial and hospitality venues within weeks. Established a direct negotiation route with a leading local developer and entered concrete site condition discussions.
